Story of a proud daughter and an artistic mother
I grew up with a very passionate mother who had dedicated her entire life to colors and her kids.
She has been talented ever since she was a little child, her mother spotted her talent and she helped her improve her skills. She studied fine arts in Helwan University in Cairo, Egypt [1976] and continued pursuing her passion for colors and painting everything she can spot in the most inventive ways. Her passion, creativity and imagination took her on a remarkable ride, and 50 years later, she still did not quit.
Even though I took a very different path than my mom, which is a scientific field, she always made me feel and view life in a different way, in a colorful way, her paintings are the reason why I believe there is still beauty in the world.
This website is a dedication to her for all her hard work so you can view, live, feel and taste life in a different way.
For my mother, Alia Hussain, I love you so much and I could never express the amount of gratitude I have for you and for everything you have done for us.

Since arriving on the professional scene in 1977, I’ve worked hard to capture and intrigue the art community. I gather much of my inspiration from personal experiences, the environment and cultures around the world.
